Adaptive Headlights and cornering lights
on the BMW 3 Series Convertible.

A winding road at night. Controlled by sensors and responding to the driver's movements of the steering wheel, the xenon headlights pan to follow each curve, ensuring the road ahead is always well illuminated. Cornering lights complement the optional Adaptive Headlights and feature two separate light sources within the headlight units. They light up the area to the side of the BMW 3 Series Convertible to increase safety when turning at night. In tight corners, at speeds up to 65 km/h and when the indicator is switched on, they are automatically activated, whenever the automatic headlight activation function is switched on.
