On the occasion, GESALO has also organized the traditional German breakfast under the sponsorship of Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors, the exclusive dealer of BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce in Saudi Arabia. The function, to be attended by the new ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom, Jürgen Krieghoff and his deputy, Dr. Peter-Christof Blomeyer, will serve as a platform to enhance the existing warm ties between the executives and officials of both countries. Some 300 guests have partaken in the momentous event held at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel and Al-Khobar Le Meridien Hotel, consecutively.
Mousa Al-Aruri, General Manager of Mohammed Yusuf Naghi Motors, said: "Our sponsorship of the 4th traditional German Breakfast this year comes in the framework of our cooperation with the German-Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs, which is part of a long-term partnership to provide new ideas for top business services through sponsoring trade events, as well as through the advancement of our efforts to promote BMW brand - the German top brand in the Saudi market.”
He said sales of BMW cars in the Kingdom have doubled during the last four years and expects to maintain the current levels throughout this year after the opening of new showrooms and service centers in various parts of the Kingdom.
The German Chamber of Commerce and Industry established GESALO in 1978 to represent them in Saudi Arabia, with the aim of expanding business presence in the Kingdom and promote trade exchange between the two countries.
